There are many reasons why these things maybe occurring including:

Through many years in the industry, we specialise in finding the answers to your heating and cooling problems. Too many companies will simply state that a unit will need replacing when they cannot solve an issue. We are always happy to offer a secondary opinion, if you have any doubts about advice you’ve previously received. With that said, sometimes replacement is your best option. This maybe the case if your unit isn’t working efficiently, the repair costs vs costs of a new unit being similar or parts no longer being available for your unit. Like all of us, we all work better with regular check-ups. We recommend getting all appliances, but especially your gas appliances serviced every two years. Not only will this extend the life of your units, but it will also help them to work efficiently and give you peace of mind, with removing the chance of carbon monoxide poisoning. You would have heard of cases of young children dying due to a faulty heater.

With every service we will check for any traces of carbon monoxide. It needs to be noted, that if there is a reading of carbon monoxide or a gas leak, the offending appliance or gas line will be disconnected immediately. This is a legal requirement and is mandatory according to the Plumbing Industry Commission. Failure to do so would lead to us losing our licence. Please do not be offended, if you ask us not to disconnect an appliance, that is leaking and we refuse. We prefer for you to be angry at us and safe than the alternate option.
